BX44W-10C铸钢三通保温旋塞阀具有双阻塞和排放功能，阀门上设有压力平衡装置，以防系统异常升压，并能减少阀门启闭瞬间的阻力。由于密封圈被压缩后金属面相互接触，阀门具有防火功能。阀门的维护十分方便，可在不把阀体从管线拆卸的情况下，通过拆卸阀体底部的端盖就能把两侧板从阀体中取出更换。BX44W-10保温旋塞阀因此也被广泛应用于石油、天然气、冶金矿山、煤气工程、轻工纺织、船舶码头、食品以及环保水处理等各行业作调节、启闭管线流体之用。
BX44W-10C铸钢三通保温旋塞阀两侧阀座密封面均可密封，阀门的使用不受介质流向的限制。金属硬密封体提升式旋塞阀关闭时，可通过手轮和阀杆对阀座密封面加压，通过加大密封比压，可使旋塞阀具有更好的密封性能。阀座密封面凸起，便于密封面清洗，BX44W-10保温旋塞阀密封面不易积存结晶介质，或固体颗粒。固常用于化工装置的高温场合。硬密封提升式旋塞阀的结构有多种，常见有两种。
